When I wrote the original homepage copy, I included a single sentence that captures the entire product: I sleep. The site runs.<\/em> This article explains the story behind that sentence and how website monitoring in Jede actually works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Jede actually does<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The core promise is simple: you don't have to check your site manually. Jede opens it on a schedule\u2014not as a simple server ping, but in a real browser, exactly like an actual visitor\u2014to check if anything broke. A missing image, a page that fails to render, a broken contact form, or an issue only visible by opening the developer console.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When something fails, you receive an alert written in plain language. Instead of \"TypeError on line 482,\" you see what broke, where it happened, and how severe it is. The technical details remain accessible inside the report so you can copy and send them directly to your developer with a single click.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having co-owned a small business for ten years, I know what a site owner's daily routine looks like: time is tight, the task list always outnumbers the hours, and the website ends up at the bottom of the priority list\u2014even as the business grows increasingly dependent on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You can also invite collaborators to a single account. A site owner can invite their agency or freelance developer directly; an agency can invite clients to view their site health dashboards. Developers managing multiple client accounts can switch between them with a single login\u2014no separate credentials required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Pricing and value<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You pay strictly for scans, not features or website limits. Every Jede capability\u2014structural change monitoring, form testing, bot challenge detection, error grouping, and email alerts\u2014is included from the entry-level plan. Pricing tiers differ only by monthly check volume, scaling from 100 up to 10,000 checks per month. Adding an extra site costs nothing extra\u2014you simply distribute your monthly check quota as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      You can also balance frequency flexibly: a 100-check quota covers 3 pages daily (3 \u00d7 30 = 90) or 25 pages weekly (25 \u00d7 4 = 100).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
